Dedicated to the piano, the 83rd edition of the OSM Competition will take place from November 8 to 12, 2022. After two virtual editions, the OSM Competition is making a grand return to the concert hall! Moreover, we are very pleased to announce that the orchestra will be on stage alongside the candidates during the final round under the direction of Jacques Lacombe.

A brand new event dedicated to the work of Johann Sebastian Bach and his musical legacy is introduced this year. The jury will determine the winner from among the semi-finalists who will receive a cash prize of $5,000. Check out the REPERTOIRE section for more information.

Loyal to its mission to support the next generation of Canadian musicians, the OSM Competition will award over $100,000 in cash prizes, training and performance opportunities. Music lovers will be able to vote for their favorite contestant to win the Audience Award. Contestants will also benefit from workshop and masterclass training from professional musicians.
