Application Requirements

How to apply

1. Record your preliminary round performance

You must first record a video of your preliminary round performance.

Guidelines for recording your video:

  • Make sure your full name is in the file name.
  • No recordings with orchestral accompaniment will be accepted.
  • You may record the required works in separate takes, but each work must be recorded without any editing between movements or parts of the same work.
  • Each take must be filmed with a single fixed camera (horizontal if using a phone or tablet). The performer should occupy as much of the frame as possible, and the face, upper body, and hands must be visible at all times.
  • Video quality may affect the jury’s evaluation. Use the best available human and technical resources to ensure a high-quality recording.

2. Gather all the elements of your application file

Your Video

Please upload your preliminary round video to YouTube and submit it as an “Unlisted” video.

  • The video must not be set to Public.
  • Select the “Unlisted” privacy setting so that only individuals with the link can access the video.
  • Do not select “Private,” as we will not be able to view the video.
  • Once your video has been uploaded, copy the YouTube link and submit it using the application form.

Please note that this format is mandatory. It allows the jury to review the video without technical restrictions and enables the administrative team to extract the audio recording for the blind audition process.
