About Jamal Al Titi

Belarusian-born Canadian baritone Jamal Al Titi is quickly establishing himself for his warm timbre and vivid stage presence. A current member of Opéra de Montréal’s Atelier lyrique, he has recently performed the title role in the world premiere of Le Phare, Uberto in La Serva Padrona, and roles in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les sortilèges. In the 2025–2026 season, he returns to the company as Dancaïro in Carmen and appears with the Orchestre Classique de Montréal in Handel’s Messiah.

In 2025, Jamal joined the International Meistersinger Academy in Germany, where he performed with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra and appeared in a cabaret concert led by Craig Terry. Earlier that summer, he sang the title role in Gianni Schicchi at the Netherlands Lyric Opera Festival and appeared with Caramoor’s Schwab Vocal Rising Stars and the New York Festival of Songs. On the concert stage, he has also performed Bach’s St. Matthew Passion with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and Grand Philharmonic Choir.

His awards include prizes from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, National Lyric Audition for the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques, Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition, Rumbold Vocal Prize, and the Stingray Award at Opéra de Montréal’s Gala Talent.
