Winner of the Prix d’Europe Competition in 2021, French-Canadian soprano Carole-Anne Roussel is currently an artist-in-residence with the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium. She studies under the tutelage of the soprano Hélène Guilmette and holds a Master’s degreein Music from the Conservatoire de musique de Québec. 

In the past few months, she has sung the role of Leïla in Bizet’s Les Pêcheurs de Perles with Jeunesses Musicales Canada and performed at the Opéra de Québec’s Les mots/maux d’amour gala, under the baton of Jean-Marie Zeitouni. Carole-Anne Roussel has also performed in many roles in productions by Highlands Opera Studio, Opera NUOVA, La Relève musicale de Québec, Tempêtes et Passions and the Conservatoire de musique de Québec.
