KEVIN WANG

SEMI-FINALIST 2022

Born on 30 April 2005, in Toronto, Kevin Wang began his piano studies at eight in Regina. He is currently studying with Lang-Ning Liu at the Phil and Eli Taylor Academy in Toronto.

He has played with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra(cond. Maziar Heidari). He was the Grand Prize winner of CCC in 2019 and a finalist in the Kaufman International Piano Competition taking place in June 2022 (age15-18) in 2018. He was also awarded first prize IMFC competition, North York Music Festival in 2021, and third prize in the 2018 Steinway Piano Competition.
